MLA prides itself on the uniqueness of its art classes. Students have art for one hour every week. They are taught more than simply producing two or three dimensional products. Students are exposed to art appreciation (study of Art History) and the concepts that make art a valuable part of society. Our curriculum follows West Virginia Content Standards appropriate for each grade level. Artworks produced during the year are displayed throughout the school, at our annual Art Auction fundraiser, and the MLA Fine Arts night held each April.
