AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
Overview of After School Program
After-school is provided to enrolled MLA full-time students on school days and early dismissal days (some exceptions). MLA provides snack for after school students. In the event of inclement weather, inside play will be substituted for outside play and will incorporate a group game.
3:15-4:00 Sign-in/Free Play (weather permitting)
4:00-4:20 Snack
4:20-4:50 Homework/Study Time
4:50-5:30 Planned Activity (crafts, organized games, theme video)
5:30-6:00 Clean-up/Free Play
6:00 After-school Ends
After School Program
After-school care is provided for all full-time students. MLA will not release children from the premises with anyone other than parents or authorized family members without advance written notification. There is a charge of $5.00 per half hour for after-school care and this is invoiced separately from tuition (see current Parent Handbook for billing details).
PreK4 students are only permitted in after-school until 4:15pm (assuming they were not dropped off early) and are charged the standard after-school rate. Please inform the office any time a PK4 student will be enrolled in our after-school program.
