MLA Summer Camp 2012
The MLA Summer Program has been in existence for over ten years and has served many children in the Morgantown area. All children ages 5 through 11 are welcome. MLA offers the following options for the summertime fun and learning: The very popular Summer Day Camp enables children to learn and grow during the summer months through hands on activities by exploring weekly themes. Some activities include: arts and crafts, educational games, language-building activities, guest speakers, music, field trips, outdoor exploration, and social activities. Campers enroll in one-week segments, which allow families on vacations to give available spots to other children and keep costs reasonable. Our Preschool program Pre-K Pals, a fun, hands-on, summer fun program designed specifically for 3 and 4 year olds. Children will be active throughout the morning hours participating in dramatic play, blocks and building, sensory table time, arts and crafts, outside exploratory play, games and puzzles, reading exploration, gross and fine motor skills, socials skills , fun theme activities and much more. Our PreK Pals enroll in one week segments. Class size is limited to 10 children per class, so sign up now for a spot in this fun preschool program. MLA is offering a variety of specialty Workshops. This year some of our workshops include the popular Bridge Building as well as some new favorites like Jewelry making. These workshops run two hours in the week specified, Monday through Thursday, with the option to go to Krepp's Park and Pool on Friday.
