Our annual art auction is our most important fundraising event as well as an elegant evening out for parents, friends and family to look forward to! This year the Art Auction will be on March 10, 2012 at the Hotel Morgan. In addition to fine art for auction, each class contributes a basket that goes onto the silent auction. Additionally, 6-8 pieces of select student art is auctioned. Keep your eyes open for more information about this event as we get closer. |

Sponsored by Giant Eagle. Families can link their Giant Eagle membership card to MLA (school number 1527). This ensures that all Giant Eagle purchases during the months September through April earn points for MLA to use to buy items in the Giant Eagle Catalog. |

Every year parents collect boxtops to raise money for our school. In the past we have purchased PE equipment, classroom electronics and books. Go register here and we get 5 boxtops! |

Gym equipment and other items can be chosen from a Campbell’s approved catalog. This program is slow growth and usually takes a number of years to collect enough lids to purchase anything new. One note on Campbell's: The entire UPC, that is the barcode, is needed for Campbell's. We cannot turn in just the picture and get credit. What Campbell's requires to get credit is at least 60% of the UPC for it to count. Thanks and keep up the great effort. Don't forget that items like Goldfish and Pepperidge Farms products are all labels for education products! |

Individual teachers sponsor classroom fundraisers. Proceeds are used to purchase specific items for the classroom. In the past teachers organized hot dog sales, garage sales and bake sale.

Sponsored by Scholastic Books, our book fair is held in the gym every February. In the past money has been used to fund literacy projects such as the purchase of books for Book Buddies or chapter books etc. |
Purchasing Gift Certificates is another way that you can support MLA in its fundraising efforts. You purchase cash vouchers/cards to any of the stores listed on the Great Lakes Scrip website (http://www.glscrip.com). You then receive the exact amount purchased in gift vouchers/cards. The school receives a percentage from the merchants on totals purchased. Profit percentages vary. Contact the Office for a schedule of when orders are placed.
