Morgantown Learning Academy creates a unique learning environment in which students are encouraged to be initiators, to question, explore, create, share, and experience the excitement of learning. Our teachers are committed to enhancing the growth and development of children through structuring a classroom that allows the students to explore and learn. We welcome and encourage the involvement of our children, parents, and faculty, and the ideas and energy they bring to the challenge of realizing the special vision of education we share for our children.

The purpose of this statement is to explain our beliefs about teaching and learning, our goals for our children, and how these goals and beliefs guide the everyday activities in our classrooms.

At Morgantown Learning Academy, students learn from each other and stimulate one another's interests. We teach children to work as members of a group. Cooperation, rather than competition, is fostered such that students are able to feel confident about their own contributions and abilities and are able to respect and learn from others.
